How much IV (Talent) your Pal has
Give the Pal, its level and the three visible in-game stats — the calculator works out the Talent range (0-100) behind each one.
How we calculate
Every Pal has base HP/Attack/Defense coefficients — the same for every individual of the species, taken from the wiki table. Together with level, they set the visible stat number: the higher the Talent (0-100, shown in-game as Potential), the closer the visible value sits to the maximum for that level. The calculator runs this in reverse: from the visible number it works out which Talent could have produced it.
The game rounds the result TWICE — first the base number, then again after multiplying by bonuses. Because of that, a single visible number cannot be traced back to one exact Talent: a whole band of neighboring values fits. The calculator reports the bounds of that band (minimum-maximum), not a made-up single figure. At higher levels rounding matters relatively less, so the band narrows. Formula: Stat = ⌊⌊Base + Species stat × k × Level × (1 + Talent × 0.003)⌋ × (1 + passives) × (1 + souls) × (1 + condenser)⌋, where ⌊…⌋ means rounding down; for HP Base = 500 + 5 × Level and k = 0.5, for Attack 100 and 0.075, for Defense 50 and 0.075.
All three bonuses need to be entered, or the answer will be wrong. The Essence Condenser adds 5% per star, up to 20% at four stars, the same across all three stats. The Statue of Power adds 3% per enhancement level, up to 60% at level twenty, and each stat is enhanced separately, so there are three separate fields. Passive skills add together as percentages (for example, Musclehead +30% and Ferocious +20% give +50% Attack), and only then multiply the result. Skipping even one of these multipliers makes the calculator look for the Talent behind someone else’s stat, and it will either give a shifted answer or find none at all.

Questions and answers
Why is the result a range and not one number?
The game rounds the visible stat twice: first the base number, then again after the bonus multipliers. Several neighboring Talent values end up producing the same visible number after rounding, so an honest answer is the bounds, not a made-up point inside them.
What is Talent, and how is it different from Potential?
Talent is a whole number from 0 to 100 that the game stores hidden. In some parts of the interface it is shown as a percentage (Potential) instead — the same Talent divided by 100 and multiplied by 30%, since its maximum bonus is plus 30% to the stat.
Why are there fields for the Condenser and the Statue of Power?
Both bonuses multiply the visible stat, and without them the calculator would be looking for the Talent behind someone else’s stat. Each Essence Condenser star adds 5% to all three stats at once, up to 20% at four stars. The Statue of Power adds 3% per level, up to 60% at level 20, but each stat is enhanced separately — which is why there are three fields. The earlier version of the calculator only accounted for the condenser, so for a Pal enhanced at the Statue or carrying Attack/Defense passives its result was usually off (a shifted Talent or an “unreachable stat”) — such results are worth recalculating.
Is this formula official?
It is not from official Pocketpair documentation, but it is also not an unsourced community retelling: the open wiki states it verbatim, citing a game breakdown. We checked both directions of the formula — forward and reverse — against Jetragon’s figures in the same page’s Min/Avg/Max table.
The calculator says “this stat is unreachable” — what does that mean?
No whole Talent from 0 to 100 produces exactly this visible number with the bonuses you entered. The most common cause is a forgotten multiplier: condenser stars, a Statue of Power level, or a passive. The calculator goes through the combinations of stars and enhancement levels, checks whether the other two stats can also match at the same star count, and first shows up to three that need the fewest changes to what you entered; a button below them reveals the rest. A forgotten passive can also look like enhancement levels. These are hints, not a measurement: several different combinations can produce the same stat.
