World of Warcraft: Forever release countdown
How long is left until World of Warcraft: Forever launches, and until every other date Blizzard has announced: beta end, name reservation, new raids.
How we calculate
All seven dates come from two official Blizzard posts — the pre-purchase announcement and the What’s Next panel recap. Each one has a verbatim quote and a link in the tool’s sources file, so you can check the date instead of taking our word for it.
Only the launch has an announced hour: 3:00 p.m. Pacific time. On 4 November 2026 the United States is already on standard time, so that is unambiguously 23:00 UTC. For every other event Blizzard named only the day, and we anchor those to 00:00 Pacific time. That is an engineering choice, and it is spelled out under the table.
The offset is derived from the time zone itself rather than a hardcoded “minus eight hours”. That matters here: the US switch to standard time on 1 November 2026 falls exactly between the October events and the launch, so a fixed offset would break half the timeline and do it silently.
We do not treat the timer hitting zero as proof of release. Delays are announced separately, so the “it is out” state is switched by hand once the launch is confirmed, not automatically by the clock.

Questions and answers
When does World of Warcraft: Forever come out?
4 November 2026 at 3:00 p.m. Pacific time, simultaneously worldwide. That is 23:00 UTC on the same day.
When does the beta end?
21 October 2026. The beta started on 17 September; access comes with the Skyborne Epic Pack and the Warcraft Forever Collection.
When can I reserve a character name?
From 27 October to 3 November 2026. Blizzard says you can create and customise up to three characters, and names are handed out first come, first served.
When do the new raids unlock?
9 December, according to the What’s Next panel recap. That sentence does not state the year; it follows from the post’s context, and we flag that in our sources.
Why does another site show a different time until the beta ends?
Because Blizzard never announced an hour for that date, so every site picks its own zero. A gap of a few hours means different baselines, not broken arithmetic.
