How we calculate

Pick a race or class from the list below — the panel instantly shows which classes it can play, or which races can play the chosen class.

The "new in Forever" badge marks combinations that never existed before: six ordinary ones (like Gnome Priest) plus all ten combinations from both Skyborne variants.

Below the table are per-race cards with a short description and all four racial abilities, active (on a cooldown) or passive.

Questions and answers

How many races are there in World of Warcraft: Forever?

Ten — five per faction, including two new Skyborne variants (High Order for the Alliance, Windshaper for the Horde).

How many new race-class combinations does Forever add?

Sixteen: six for existing races (like Gnome Priest or Troll Warlock), plus ten from the two Skyborne variants — each plays five classes, and every one of those is new.

What are the six new class options added to existing races?

Per the beta data: Human Hunter, Dwarf Shaman, Gnome Priest, Orc Mage, Undead Paladin, Troll Warlock.

Are the two Skyborne races identical?

No. High Order (Alliance) and Windshaper (Horde) share three of four abilities verbatim, but each has its own signature ability: Read Ley Line for the Alliance, Skysight for the Horde. It is also worth noting honestly that the beta source describes both Skyborne variants with thin, templated text, unlike the unique lore prose given to the other eight races.

Is this list final?

No. The data comes from a single available source (wowforevertools.com) as of the 2026-09-22 beta — Wowhead had no WoW: Forever section at that point. The race, class, or ability roster may change before the 2026-11-04 release.
